Nirmal Industries experienced packing teams undertake packing contracts either at the customer's site or at one of Nirmal Industries premises. Following an initial (free of charge) survey being conducted, Nirmal Industries designs a cost-effective, fit for purpose package that encompasses both inner & outer product protection. A product protection analysis takes into account the many hazards that the product may meet in transit. Factors such as the product size, shape, type, fragility, corrosion susceptibility, weight & weight distribution, the package destination and the mode of transport, are reviewed in order to design the correct inner & outer package.

The outer package is designed to facilitate easy handling of the product as well as to provide protection against hazards such as impact, stacking & shock The inner packaging is designed to minimise the risk of any product damage caused by hazards such as impact, shock, corrosion, and abrasion. The inner package design would ensure that the product is secure & does not move within the package in transit. Methods of product security range from the strategic positioning of padded timber battens to wrapping in bubble film, foam or corrugated paper to placing the product in a purpose made expanded foam profile to the many types of void fill (loose fill, card / paper…).

The Nirmal Industries packing teams have enormous experience of packing all different types of products, ranging from small 50mm bolts for the automotive industry to 30 ton steel presses.
